This project involved designing a brochure that explores Wellington’s religious architecture through three distinct buildings: Futuna Chapel, St. John’s Church, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Although they share a common purpose, their contrasting architectural styles highlight the diversity and harmony within the city’s built environment. My visual approach focused on illustrating key architectural details such as stained glass and structural form, using fine line illustration to evoke a calm, reflective mood suited to the subject matter. A clean visual style, limited colour palette, and consistent typography created clarity and cohesion throughout the design.Through this project, I learned the importance of on-site observation, developing visual consistency, and using design to communicate cultural and architectural stories that I will continue to apply in future work.
